About the Author

Despite her choice to write a period piece set in England, Marial Winters is an American imposter who has never set foot on the British Isles, at least not in this life. Her past lives are a different story. For those who are interested in such things, she was born in California this time, raised on Maui, and now resides in a quiet rural town in Tennessee with a herd of cows for neighbors. Her family includes an easygoing husband, a moody western hognose snake, and an entitled Russian blue rescue cat who is responsible for a fair portion of the typos that have been removed from The Society of Spirits, and possibly a few that slipped through the cracks.
